Noble Cut Distillery: Rebrand & Photoshoot
Overview
Noble Cut Distillery (NCD) is an Ohio-based distillery focused on flavored whiskey, cellos, and vodka (10/10 their Signature Vodka makes a refreshing cocktail). NCD has been through a few iterations over the years. In 2021, they were ready for an official long-term change. Enter: A Label Rebrand.
I led our creative team in the management and production of an entirely new bottle lineup for their 4x whiskeys, 4x cellos (only 3x pictured below), Signature Vodka and their well vodka. The vision was curated through hours of client and creative team collaboration.
A Bottle for a Tastemaker
NCD’s rebrand was in part due to the client’s desire to align with their mature taste and aesthetic. The bigger motivator was their mission to expand their market and elevate their status in the eyes (and mouth) of the Tastemaker.
These labels would be (and are) the face of NCD—knowing the importance of this to the client, I built a trusting relationship with the client through workshops, in-person presentations and truly getting to know their business down to the actual distilling process. With so many moving parts, it was important to me to creatively think about how to organize each bottle design’s execution plan. We stayed on track, hit our checkpoints and even had time for a beautifully curated photoshoot (Fun Fact: That’s my hand holding the Dark Cherry Whiskey).
