Producer & Project Manager

Aunt Flow: Dispenser Explainer Films

Overview

Aunt Flow is a menstrual pad and tampon brand focused on providing freely accessible period products in public spaces across the globe. The founder, Claire Coder, started her business at 16 years old after having her first period in public without access to the products she needed.

As Producer and Project Manager, I worked with our creative team and the Aunt Flow marketing team to produce multiple period product dispenser explainer films to instruct customers on how to install the dispensers and explain the benefits to the public.

A Game Changer

Through careful planning and organization, I collaborated with my creative team and Aunt Flow on ways to orchestrate the studio production of, essentially, a visual instruction guide. I built trust and confidence in our team with the client through weekly check-ins, project briefs and clear and concise planning. Together we implemented a unique approach to an otherwise mundane step-by-step process—we gave life and color to a brand that’s implemented policy change and inclusivity.

During this process, I also redeveloped part of my approach to production and project management. I established a new project book format that organized key information for the team and the client to stay informed in an easy-to-follow guide—I channeled their goals into my own management approach. This simplified the planning process and helped me push my creative boundaries throughout the project.
